  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • ¼ cup coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. In a pot, combine water and baking soda. Bring to a boil.
  7. Divide the dough into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Boil each piece for about 30 seconds and then place on a baking sheet.
  9. Brush each pretzel bite with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
