Simple and Delicious Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

A comforting and simple casserole made with crispy tater tots and savory turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the cooked turkey bacon and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture, and stir well.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the tater tots evenly on the bottom.
  6. Pour the bacon and soup mixture over the tater tots, spreading it evenly.
  7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon.
  • Add your favorite vegetables such as peas or bell peppers for extra flavor.
