  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle some chocolate chips on top before baking.
