Gluten Free Chocolate Baked Donuts

Delicious gluten free chocolate baked donuts that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a donut pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a sweeter treat, try adding powdered sugar on top before serving.
  • You can use a piping bag for easier filling of the donut pan.
