Egg Nests with Hash Browns

Start your day with these delicious Egg Nests made with crispy hash browns and savory turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hash browns
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a muffin tin, press hash browns into the bottom and sides to form nests.
  3. Bake the hash browns for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and chop into pieces.
  5. Once the nests are ready, crack an egg into each nest and top with turkey bacon, cheese, and green onions.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the eggs are set to your liking.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon and add more vegetables.
