- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the mixture and stir well.
- Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
