Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place the slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
