Crockpot BBQ Pulled Chicken

A flavorful and tender pulled chicken recipe made conveniently in a crockpot with BBQ sauce.

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s evenly coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the crockpot.
  6. Serve on buns, over rice, or in tacos.
