  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  5. Add shredded chicken, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.
