Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to skillet.
  3. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in chopped basil and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce. Serve immediately.
