Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast Casserole

A delicious and easy-to-make casserole featuring layers of French toast, cream cheese, and blueberries.

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cube the French bread and place half in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Spread cream cheese over the bread cubes, then add blueberries on top.
  4. Add the remaining bread cubes on top of the blueberries.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Pour over the casserole.
  6. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For best results, prepare the casserole the night before and refrigerate.
  • Substitute raspberries or strawberries for a different flavor.
