Banana Oatmeal Bars

A delicious and nutritious snack that combines the natural sweetness of bananas with wholesome oats.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add rolled oats, honey, peanut butter, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl and mix well.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, replace peanut butter with sun butter.
  • These bars can be customized by adding nuts or dried fruits.
